Inside the classes

As mentioned above, our first year class was situated just beneath the nose of our principal. We were not allowed to sit in the class durinf free hours. Principal himself will call to the dept and ask for a proxy and if he could not get one he would come to the class and either take some advice classes or ask us to leave the room. During the first year weekly once we had a class to be taken by the principal for which he normally does not come. Those days after the class I use to back to home as early as possible. My friends would ask me to stay back but I would not give my ear to them.

We had five long hours in college a day. It starts at 9am and lasts upto 3pm. The system was a new one for us(I mean the new comers then). In schools the so called class teacher would get in with a big book called the register. But in college the first hour staff would come in with just a note pad in his hand. In schools the first thing they do is take the attendance of students and then go to the books and all those stuffs. But here again the difference is that whenever the professor feels to take up the attendance he does so. It might be at the beginning, during the class or even at then end of the class. Whatever be the time of attendance numbers from 20-25 would be ready to shout their numbers ; in which my number was 24. We were always ready for that. As told before we had 45 students in our class of which 25 were boys and rest were girls. Our seatinf arrangement was such that we had three rows in our class. Our row was in the centre and on our left we had some gays and on the left the girls. Like all other college classes our class also had boys concentrating towards their left(obviously including me) when classes get boring. To be frank we didnt have very good looking girls within our classes. For satisfying ourselves we would even take out our concentration outside our classroom.
